Looking for ways to share in your child’s educational experience?  Volunteerism is a great way to invest in your child’s learning environment and make lasting connections within the community.

  • Parent Advisory Board provides an opportunity for parents and caregivers to keep abreast of current happenings andinfluence the direction of the center’s programming and activities.  Board members meet on a monthly basis in a casual atmosphere for one hour.
  • Family Events are held every other month.  We sponsor a “Preschool Prom“, Center Carnival, Week of the Young Child Celebration, Family Picnic, and Jamboree! throughout the year. Parent volunteers help us to provide a fun-filled experience for young and old alike.
  • Classroom Field Trips are a classic highlight in any academic setting! Throughout the year our preschool and school-age classrooms load buses and venture to fun-filled destinations around the metro.  To ensure a safe and enjoyable experience, we welcome volunteers to join in the excitement and serve as classroom chaperones.
  • Family fun night is a great opportunity to “take a night off”…with your child.  Join us for pizza and and a guided discussion facilitated by an Early Childhood Family Education (ECFE) instructor from Minneapolis Public Schools.  Following pizza, parents are invited to take part in a group discussion focused on socio-emotional child development while the kids play with friends and teachers.  Family fun night is hosted on a monthly basis.
